Nickel silver, copper and garnet earrings
These earrings feature textured nickel silver, etched copper, and garnet stones in copper bezels. They are just as happy if you're wearing jeans or a little black dress.
These earrings are medium/heavy.
Sterling silver, brass and copper, horizon at sunrise, earrings
These sterling silver, brass and copper earrings remind me of sunrise...the land still dark and shimmery with the sky brightening. The base of the earrings is brass with flame painted copper and sterling silver layered on the front and then slightly domed.
Carnelian partial bezel earrings
These carnelian earrings show off the shape of the stones by only partially framing them. Using a copper back and nickel silver for bezel, the sterling silver ball not only accents one earring but provides extra security for holding the stone.
The earring are medium/light in weight. All earrings have sterling silver ear wires.
Copper and sterling silver starry night earrings
These copper and sterling silver earrings are favorites of mine. The sterling accent and copper ball, along with the swirling colors resulting from flame painting the copper rectangle remind me of something planetary...like a bright starry night.
These earrings are medium in weight.
Classic style sterling silver earrings...with a twist!
These sterling silver earrings go with everything...jeans to party wear. After I cut the circles from a larger sheet, I carefully laid on silver "dust" from sawing and larger bits from shearing. Then with the torch I both melted the shavings and bits as well as reticulating the larger circle. Reticulation is a process of heating the silver to the point of beginning to melt on the surface. When the torch is pulled away, the melted layer cools but also wrinkles as it contracts, making really cool surface texture!
Etched copper earrings with sterling silver dots
Dots are in! These perfect-with-your-jeans copper and sterling silver earrings are lightweight and fun. The copper was etched and then the sterling silver dots soldered on prior to forming the entire length of the earring into a curved shape.
Sterling silver and copper banded earrings
These are classic sterling silver and copper earrings. A band of copper, about 1/3" wide, is layered over a sterling silver band about 1/2". There's a nice detail at the top, tabs cut from the sterling and connected by a small ring of silver to hold the ear wire.
These are medium in weight.
Sterling silver and copper diminishing balls earrings
These sterling silver and copper earrings will get you tons of compliments. The clean design is one of my most popular. They can be made also with all copper balls or all sterling silver balls. These earrings are lightweight and go well with just about any outfit.
Sterling silver and copper earrings...lines and balls
I refer to these sterling silver and copper earrings as those who refuse to be nicely photographed. The copper was textured by pressing very small lines into it using a rolling mill. Then sterling silver wire was flattened and soldered on the copper. Finally, sterling silver scraps were heated into small balls and attached. These medium weight earrings say "It's Saturday! Let's go!"
Handcrafted round, layered sterling silver, brass, copper earrings
These sterling silver, brass and copper earrings are layered to show the contrast of metal and texture. The silver has been reticulated, which means heated to the point of melting on its surface to create texture. By repeatedly heating and cooling, the metal becomes more distressed...the cracks are intentional. For interest, I added small sterling silver balls.
These earrings are medium/light-medium in weight.
